STARS MENTORING PROGRAM
Success Through Adults Reaching Students (STARS) builds relationships that are as
meaningful for the mentor as they are for the young person.
NATIONAL MENTORING MONTH
The goals of National Mentoring Month are to raise awareness of mentoring, recruit individuals
to mentor, and encourage organization to engage and integrate quality in mentoring into
their efforts. The National Mentoring Month happens in January of every year.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
Through positive and caring one-to-one relationships with adult friends and positive role models, youth
will grow and thrive, taking responsibility for their choices, learning from their mistakes
and looking forward to a healthy and productive future.
